Wee is a member of the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

He currently sits on the board of the Securities Commission, Yinson Holdings Bhd, Red Ideas Holdings Bhd and Perusahaan Sadur Timah Malaysia Bhd.

AIA chief executive officer Ben Ng said that with a proven track record of leadership and strategic vision, Wee brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the company.

“His appointment signifies a pivotal milestone in our journey to help

more people live healthier, longer, better lives.

“I look forward to working with Wee as we navigate the dynamic landscape of the insurance industry and further drive our

organisation to new heights of success,” he said in a statement.
