Allianz Truck Warrior Protects more than 4,000 Goods Carrying Vehicles with Roadside Assistance

The Allianz Truck Warrior, an add-on coverage by Allianz General Insurance Company Berhad (Allianz General) which provides roadside assistance to Allianz Goods Carrying Vehicle (comprehensive) policyholders involved in breakdowns, has been called to action since launching in February this year. To date, more than 4,000 Allianz Goods Carrying Vehicle Comprehensive customers have included the Allianz Truck Warrior add-on to their policies since the launch in February this year.

With Allianz Truck Warrior, policyholders can expect roadside assistance services up to three times a year, which includes towing of their Goods Carrying Vehicles up to 100km roundtrip by our dedicated fleet of tow trucks, as well as on-site repair service for breakdowns. Customers will also be covered with flood relief allowance of up to RM5,000 per flood event in the event the vehicle is damaged by flood.

Customers can enjoy all this with a purchase of our motor insurance policy and add on RM120 to get Allianz Truck Warrior.

“We want businesses to rest assured that their Goods Carrying Vehicles are given comprehensive protection if something goes wrong. For minor issues, we will send our bike brigade to try and get the vehicle up and running again to ensure business continuity. If it requires towing, we want our customers to have a trusted and reliable partner that will show up on time.” said Sazali Abdul Rahman, Deputy Chief Sales Officer of Allianz General.

“Either way, the Allianz Truck Warrior provides customers with end-to-end coverage. No need to face the haggling, waiting and coercion that one typically endures during a breakdown. This is why over 4,000 Goods Carrying Vehicles have already chosen to take up Allianz Truck Warrior.” continued Sazali.

While the average cost of towing a lorry when it breaks down is about RM800, for only RM120, customers can enjoy this stress-free benefit. The vehicle just has to fulfil the following criteria; the Goods Carrying Vehicle has to have an A and C permit with Comprehensive Cover, up to 7.5 tons Gross Vehicle Weight or more popularly known as Berat Dengan Muatan (BDM), and the age of the vehicle is 20 years or less.

At Allianz Malaysia, size doesn’t matter. Big or small, we tow it all! Allianz Truck Warrior is the latest in the Allianz Road Rangers fleet which offers roadside assistance to motorcycles, cars and now Goods carrying vehicles.
